This lecture is part of a series of lectures on “Scientific Truths” organised by Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in collaboration with the British Council.

Darryl Cunningham will talk about how he uses the humble comic strip in his work to popularise and explain science. In particular he will be discussing his book, “Science Tales”, in which he wrote and drew a series of cartoon essays that look in detail at the most controversial science subjects of our time. Here he strips away the many myths that surround such subjects as man-made climate change, evolution, and shale gas fracking among others.
