The 13th edition of this electronic music and digital art festival is being held from 7th to 13th March in Barcelona, providing a much-welcomed opportunity for professionals and creative communities from around the world to gather together to enjoy a programme of a total of 50 artists from 15 different nationalities present in 10 different locations.
The programme features some of the most cutting-edge British artists of the moment such as Anz, Blawan, Loraine James, Josey Rebelle or the rapper DJ, singer and songwriter Shygirl. Three of the candidates selected to participate in the latest edition of the #WeAreEquals Music Academy, held in Barcelona on February 2 and 3, will also be sharing the stage with them.
Led by the British Council, MUTEK ES, SAE SPAIN and Brighter Sound, in collaboration with shesaid.so, Femnoise and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office, the #WeAreEquals platform was created to promote gender equality and diversity in the music industry with training programmes aimed at the future leaders of electronic music.
