Alex Turvey, Dressing the Screen. Workshop for Fashion Film Directors / Madrid Fashion Film Festival.

In the framework of the third Madrid Fashion Film Festival, the British Council and the acclaimed British director Alex Turvey are organizing a three day workshop for professional and semi-professional fashion filmmakers. The aim of the workshop is to provide advice and guidelines on film production. The workshop will take place at IED Madrid on 10, 11 and 12 November and candidates must submit their applications before November 3 .

Dressing the Screen is an international British Council program that allows semi-professionals and professionals to develop their skills with the help of the best artistic directors of the sector. After organizing talks, exhibitions and screenings in more than 10 countries and presenting works of the most outstanding British directors and designers like Nick Knight, Ruth Hogben, Quentin Jones, Vivienne Westwood or Henry Holland, Dressing the Screen will be taking place in Spain with Alex Turvey.

Hailed as one of London's "Top Fashion Creatives" by BUSINESS OF FASHION, "Fashion's New Generation" by VOGUE, as well as being described as one of the fifteen "Creatives Who Will Define The Future of British Arts" by the INDEPENDENT, Alex Turvey is an award winning FILM DIRECTOR, DESIGNER & VISUAL ARTIST, born in Cornwall, now based between London & Los Angeles. He has applied his unique aesthetics to music videos, fashion films, commercials, Short films, installations and Live visuals, and this has led to Alex being named as one of London's key Creative Craftsmen by LEVI'S, "Young Creative Entrepreneur" by DAZED and as a Leading Young Director by BOARDS and SHOTS Magazines.
