Artificial Things is a new daring cinematic and colourful production of the British company StopGAP Dance Company,  internationally recognized for its with work with integrated dance that includes abled and disabled dancers such as the well known David Toole.

Artificial Things is performed within the project CAPACITATS, a collaborative project with celebrates diversity in dance.

For three weeks there will be a national and international programme including shows, laboratories, workshops, screenings and debates, some of them open to the public and others exclusively for professionals- for the purpose increasing the visibility and developing methodology for the use of   Arts for Social Improvement in Catalonia. It is not a festival or a schedule of performances, but a few weeks to promote an exchange of experiences between professionals with disabilities from nearby countries (Spain, England, Portugal and Italy).

All these activities have been organized as a platform by l’Espai Dansat! del SAT!, la companyia Thomas Noone Dance, el British Council, l’Associació Kiakahart – Arts del Moviment, el col·lectiu Liant La Troca, Apropa Cultura, l’Institut del Teatre i IT Dansa, and the Mercat de les Flors.
