Brighter Sound, our UK partners in WeAreEquals, and Library Live, Manchester are looking for two artists (one from Northern England and one from outside of England) to collaborate and write new music that explores what it means to be connected, disconnected and reconnected in today’s world.

As part of the commission you’ll receive mentoring from UK top ten selling and MOBO nominated singer, songwriter and artist Andreya Triana.
Aimed at women and non binary people over 18. They are looking for musicians, songwriters and producers, of any genre, who have a track record of producing and performing music and are interested in working with a new collaborator to gain new perspectives.
Brighter Sound is a creative music charity based in Manchester, U.K. They develop the music creators, leaders and industry professionals of the future, with a particular focus on supporting those who are historically and currently underrepresented.
