To celebrate the International Day of Books, the British Council and the Globe Theatre in partnership with more than 10 Spanish organizations across the country organize the first urban walk of all the works created by William Shakespeare in Madrid (April 22 - The Night of books) and Barcelona (April 23) simultaneously to the Complete Walk that takes place along the Thames river in London on the same day.
The Complete Walk, is a journey through 37 short films corresponding to the 37 works of Shakespeare. The 37 short films include "Love's Labours Lost" filmed in the Palacio de Olite (Navarra) in collaboration with the Navarra Film Commission
From 22 to April 28 you will enjoy these short films and learn more about the most emblematic works such as Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet or Macbeth and also some of the unknown thanks to the very best actors and directors of the British stage.
The Complete Walk gathers in Spain prestigious institutions such as the Spanish National Library, the CCCB, the Teatro la Abadía, the Conde Duque Cultural Center, La Casa Encendida, Teatros del Canal or the headquarters of the British Council in Madrid.
