Under the title "Culture, care and recovery", the 12th edition of the CoMuseum International Conference will take place from 7th to 9th December. Presented by the Benaki Museum, the US Embassy in Greece and the British Council in Athens and Thessaloniki, more than 25 experts from the creative sectors in Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States will be taking part to explore the role of art and culture in the socioeconomic development and recovery of our societies. British speakers include Victoria Hume, Director, Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance, Dr Nuala Morse, Lecturer in Museum Studies, School of Museum Studies, University of Leicester and Dr Karen Mak, Research Fellow in Quantitative Social Science at University College London.

This year's conference is presented in a hybrid format with in-person attendance at the Benaki Museum Amphitheatre/Pireos 138 and free online attendance available for some of the scheduled activities (pre-registration is required for both options). Focused on healing through cultural and creative outlets, the conference will explore how the cultural and creative sector – museums and cultural organizations – may contribute to the recovery and development of our societies, institutions and relationships. 25 professionals from international museums and cultural organizations, representatives of civil society, educators, health and cultural professionals as well as academics will examine the above topics through lectures, panel discussions, workshops and master classes.
