48 hours to change the future and to win a residency at the Youtube Space London.
Within the framework of our activities aimed at Creative Industries, the British Council is organizing the first Culture Shift Madrid, a 48 hour hackathon to develop the tools that will change the production of cultural content over the next 10 years. The event is co-organized with Google, Teatro Real, CCCB and Snook.
The event will take place from the 28th to the 30th October in Campus Madrid and the participants will be presented with a number of challenges.
The challenges posed by the Teatro Real and CCCB cover a range of different aspects from integrating virtual reality in its activities to the organisation of digital content and increasing online audience.
At the end of the hackathon, on Sunday the30th October, a jury will judge the ideas and the prototypes created over the weekend. The winning team will receive the unique opportunity of attending a residency at Youtube Space in London in December this year.
Hackathon is free, however in order to participate we need to receive your applications before the 24th October.
