This month the Fundación Telefónica is launching the first edition of the forum “Cultura en Digital” to address a series of issues related to the impact of digitization on the creative industries during the pandemic.
Over three days, discussions will focus on the new social ecosystem that has emerged as a result of the digitization of culture, and what the cultural sector needs to do to adopt the new practices generated by digital technologies.
The British Council will present the practice of UK-based artists as well as looking at the rapid introduction of tools such as artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) in the British arts sector.
During the forum the British Council will be joined by prestigious cultural organisations such as the ICOM (International Council of Museums), the Prado museum, Thyssen Bornemisza museum, Teatro Real, Fundación Juan March and AC/E Acción Cultural Española.
The programme is free to attend both online and on site. More information and registration here.
