The Complutense University hosts the talk of  Andy Kesson (University of Roehampton) and Emma Frankland.

In their talk, theatre artist Emma Frankland and Dr Andy Kesson will discuss their historical and contemporary approaches to early modern drama in the context in which Shakespeare’s and Cervantes’ work was made, through the lens of a queer and trans-positive production of John Lyly’s “Galatea” they are currently devising. They will also explore the differences between each writer's use/misuse of gender and queer issues.Talk available online as well on our Facebook Live channel.
