No Sleep ‘Till Brexit / Seven perfomatives companies facing the Brexit

Taking place over the four days in March 2019 in Centro Cultural Conde Duque when Britain is supposed to formally exit the European Union, NO SLEEP TILL BREXIT is a micro-festival of theatre, conversation and participatory experiments, crossing borders, languages and forms, featuring work by UK artists and local collaborators. Neither a celebration nor a funeral, the festival offers a complex, fragile space – sometimes quiet, sometimes deafening – to think together about where we might be going… and what we might do next. A reminder that WE ARE ALL, despite everything, STILL HERE. A drop of hope in an ocean of uncertainty. A wild burst of optimism in the face of the unknown.

Commissioned by Sleepwalk Collective, NO SLEEP TILL BREXIT includes performances by some of the UK’s most exciting young artists, including Action Hero and Christopher Brett Bailey, presented in Madrid for the very first time.
