As part of its program, We Are Equals, the British Council also partners the Keychange project led by the PRS Foundation and funded by the European Commission, which seeks to contribute to the empowerment of women to transform the future of the music industry, encouraging the Festivals reach parity in their programming for 2022.

BIME Pro, a founding member of this pioneering initiative in Europe, confirmed its commitment to eliminate the gender gap in the music industry by starting the Keychange  program, with which it is committed to hosting a delegation of 70 leading women in music in this edition, as well as reaching parity by 2022. The objective is to give visibility to women in order to inspire other women to enter an industry dominated by men so far. Among the delegates who are attending the biggest professional event in the music industry in Spain are Jamz Supernova and the new R&B jazzy star Poppy Ajudha (who will also perform at the festival's showcase).
