Thanks to its agreement with Versión Digital (exclusive distributor for Spain of the Royal Opera House’s cinema screenings from its London stage) and Cinesa Cinemas, the British Council is organising a draw of free double tickets to see one of the Royal Opera House’s most acclaimed ballet productions this season in cinemas all over Spain on Monday 14th February 2022.
Since its 1965 premiere with The Royal Ballet, Kenneth MacMillan’s “Romeo and Juliet” has become a great modern ballet classic of the world repertory. The nuanced and detailed choreography gives dancers in the lead roles a wealth of opportunity for differing interpretations of the doomed lovers.
The invitations will be available for cinemas in Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Marbella and Santander. The deadline to participate in the draw is 1st February at 11:59 p.m. CET. We'll get in touch with the lucky winners before February 4th.
