This session will look at how learners respond to all the new words and phrases they come across during their English courses. We will discuss ways to help children get comfortable with hearing, seeing and, crucially, using new language on their journey to becoming confident communicators in English.
The session will be delivered by Jennie Gant, the director of the British Council in Segovia. She is an experienced teacher and trainer. She is interested in helping students to use their English as a tool for real communication and in helping teachers to plan and deliver engaging and challenging courses. Her specialities are using drama in the classroom, teaching through stories and pronunciation with Young Learners.
