1st Edition ”FHB Young Writers Prize” 
Wanted! The best young author of a work written in English. 

In partnership with the British Council, the Instituto Cervantes in London and the British Embassy in Madrid, the British Hispanic Foundation (FHB) has launched the first edition of its Creative Writing Competition: “FHB Young Writers Prize”. 

Open to all students currently enrolled in “Bachillerato” or its equivalent in a secondary school in Spain, the competition aims to encourage younger people to develop a passion for literature whilst channelling their inner creativity and promoting the use of English in their writing. 

Students will need to present an original, individual and unpublished essay written in English on the topic of “The Influence of Social Media”. 

Registration will be open from Friday 9th April to Sunday 9th May, 2021, (World Book Day).
