  • Gain practical insights and solutions to common classroom challenges.
  • Engage directly with our speakers through the Q&A at the end of each session.

Speakers

1. Teresa Bestwick - From 9:30 to 10:30 am - Picture perfect: using images and imagery in the teen classroom

Teresa is a teacher, trainer and CPD junkie based in southern Spain. She is a tutor on Trinity Cert and DipTESOL courses and co-author of Teaching Teenagers from DELTA Publishing. In her free time, she likes early-morning walks to snap pictures of plants.

This hands-on session will provide a number of easy-to-adapt activities for the teen classroom, using images from our course materials, learners' own images and more. They are low-tech and low-prep, with some which can lead into writing activities and others which work as a five-minute filler.

He is the author of Understanding Teenagers in the ELT Classroom (2018, Pavilion) and the forthcoming Taking Your Teaching of Teenagers to the Next Level (2025, Pavilion).
